Training Part 8 - Gym Sessions

  1. Abdonimals (Crunch)

  2. Lower Back
  3. Cyclette (Gym Bike)
  4. Tapis Roulant

Ok, first you have to know that the gym should only be used by adult athletes. If the finswimmer is young, between 13 and 18 years of age, the Gym is not recommendable, because of their phisical constitution. The young ones don't need the gym. I think it's better for them just to do free exercices without machines like aerobics and gymnastics. I recommend the following exercises:

Abdonimals (Crunch)

Lower Back

Cyclette (Gym Bike)

The Gym Bike, also known as Cyclette, should be used for aerobic training. Use it in several sessions, for example 3x10 minutes with 140-150 bpm.

Tapis Roulant

The Tapis Roulant (Runner) should be used to walk, not to run. The run could be damaging to your feet. So like the bike, I suggest you do sessions of 10 minutes, better with an inclination of 7-8%
